Can I bring alcohol into the Arena?
No. Alcohol is prohibited from being brought into the venue. Any alcohol purchased onsite during an event may only be consumed onsite. Due to strict local bylaws, no alcohol is to be consumed in Te Rauparaha Arena carpark.
Are there any ATM machines at the Arena?
No. Unfortunately there are no ATMs inside Te Rauparaha Arena. However, there is a Westpac ATM at Countdown Supermarket and an ATM located outside of ANZ bank – both are located on Lyttleton Avenue and are only two minutes’ walk from Te Rauparaha Arena.
Can I bring a camera into the Arena?
Yes, as long it is for personal use only. Commercial photography is not permitted without permission.
Can I use Eftpos at the Arena?
Yes. Eftpos can be used for all purchases including event tickets as well as food and beverages. If you would like to make cash withdrawals you will find ATMs within a two minute walk from Te Rauparaha Arena at Countdown and ANZ Bank, both on Lyttleton Ave.
What happens if I arrive late for an event?
For the majority of events at Te Rauparaha Arena, customers that arrive late can still gain access into the stadium after an event has started. However, on the odd occasion where the doors to the stadium will be closed during a performance and under the instruction of event organisers/promoters, you may have to wait for a suitable break in the performance before you can enter into the stadium.
Can I purchase food and beverages at the Arena?
Yes. The Arena Cafe is onsite and open 7 days a week with extended hours during certain events. Commercial food is not permitted to be brought into the venue during ticketed events but we have vending machines available on site. Please feel free to enquire with our friendly Event staff.
Are First Aid facilities available?
Yes. Te Rauparaha Arena has two First Aid rooms onsite – one located at the entrance into the Mana Community Grants Foundation stadium and the other in the Aquatic foyer by reception. All staff members are fully trained and hold First Aid certificates.
If you have an injury or illness and require assistance, please ask one of the friendly staff and they will be able to assist.
Where is the nearest public transport?
Te Rauparaha Arena is within close vicinity of both buses and trains making public transport an easy option to get to events. For more details on services provided, see our Finding Us page.
Can I smoke at the Arena?
No. Te Rauparaha Arena is a non-smoking venue and smoking within the venue or 10 metres of any entrance is prohibited.
How can I get tickets to an event?
Tickets to all events at Te Rauparaha Arena are sold through TicketDirect.

Is WI-FI available at the Arena?
Yes. All customers to Te Rauparaha Arena have free access to Welly Wi-Fi while in the building. Please note that daily limits do apply.
Outside in the park and surround areas, free Gigabit Wi-Fi is available.
