Beethoven’s Big Birthday Bash is a mass play-in / sing-in event, bringing together hundreds of singers and instrumentalists in an afternoon of loud and glorious music-making!
Conducted by Orchestra Wellington Music Director Marc Taddei, our massed orchestra and massed choir will rehearse and then perform together the first movement of Beethoven’s monumental Fifth Symphony and the last movement of his glorious Ninth symphony, Ode to Joy.
We have special arrangements available of both works for less advanced/less confident singers and players.
