Sports events

Te Rauparaha Arena has hosted international events including basketball, netball, volleyball and handball. We have also hosted national, regional and local sporting fixtures across a wide range of sports.

We have; 

• 4 basketball courts
  
• 4 netball courts
  
• 8 volleyball courts marked out across two stadiums
  
• 4 large changing rooms
  
• 2 umpires rooms 
  
• 2 first aid rooms
  

Our show court can cater for up to 2,500 seated for netball or basketball matches.

A central location and proximity to amenities such as supermarkets, public transport, accommodation and our Arena Aquatic Centre make us an ideal venue for your sporting requirements.
