Are you open?
Yes, but numbers are limited to meet the Covid-19 Alert Level 2 rules. We may also be closing for short periods of time to do a clean of the area.
Is it safe for you to be open?
Yes. We have taken every step to keep you safe including providing distancing, limiting numbers, providing sanitising stations and regularly cleaning all our areas.
What extra training have the staff done to keep us safe?
Our staff have been fully trained to keep our area sanitised to make sure the environment is kept virus free.
Why is there a screen at reception?
This is to keep you, and our staff, safe from potential transmission of viruses as the screen protects against any accidental coughs or sneezes.
Why are you asking us not to use cash?
To keep everyone as safe as possible we are using paywave wherever possible. However, we can still take ordinary EFTPOS payments. If necessary, we will have one till open for cash transactions.
Why are there in and out queues?
These are to help everyone keep the recommended distance apart.
Why do I have to sign in?
This is our way to create contact tracing should we need to get hold of you if there was a suspected case of Covid-19. Your information will be kept completely confidential unless requested by the Ministry of Health.
What happens if I refuse?
Unfortunately if you refuse to give us your details we will not be able to admit you to the building.
Why do I need to sanitise?
The Ministry of Health recommends the use of hand sanitisers to prevent virus transmission.

Why can’t I purchase your retail products?
For hygiene reasons we have closed our retail temporarily. We are looking to open this as soon as we are safe to do so. You can still buy nappies at the front counter.
How do we know we are safe?
Our staff are always doing their best to keep you safe. That won’t change during this time.
Who can I talk to about my concerns?
There is a duty manager on site at all times. Feel free to ask to talk to them if you need further help.
Why is there a limit to how many people can be in the pool?
This is in line with the government restrictions outlined for Level 2 of Covid-19
Why do I have to pay?
We are back to business as usual so our charges are the same as they were before lockdown.
Why are the sauna and steamroom closed?
Because the sauna and steam room are small and the heat promotes sweating we are keeping them closed to reduce the risk of virus transmission through bodily fluids.
Why is the drinking fountain closed?
The drinking fountain is closed to prevent virus transmission.
Why is it full price if I can’t use the sauna or steam room?
We only charge one price for access to all of our features, so we haven’t changed the admission prices.
Why do I have to wait to use the changing room?
We are limiting numbers in smaller spaces to reduce possible transmission.
Why can’t I book a birthday party?
Because we have to keep to maximum numbers in the pool we are not taking birthday party bookings so that we can ensure everyone can use our facility.
Why do I have to get out at a set time?
There are times when we will be closing the pool/gym to allow our team to do a full clean of the space and equipment.
Are there restrictions on numbers in the pool lanes?
Yes. There is a maximum of 4 people per lane and we have increased the width of the lanes.
How many people can I bring to the pool with me?
Because we are limiting the numbers at the pool we can’t guarantee that large groups will be able to get in. Level 2 rules state no gathering of groups larger than 10 people.
How old can my child be to be here on their own?
Our pool regulations are that no child under the age of 10 is allowed to be left unsupervised at the pool. However everyone who comes into the pool must have a contact number and email for contact tracing or they will not be allowed in.
Why can’t I hire a lane?
Because we have made the lanes wide this has reduced the number of lanes available. We are keeping these available for everyone to use.
